185 students graduated this year during the seventh Graduation Day organized by Biocon Academy, a Centre of Excellence for Advanced Learning in Applied Biosciences and a CSR project of Biocon, a leading global biopharmaceutical firm. The graduation ceremony included eight batches from four different Biocon Academy programs, including the Biocon KGI Certificate Program in Biosciences, the Biocon JSS AHER Certificate Program in Global Regulatory Affairs, the Biocon Ramaiah Certificate Program in Quality Control Analytical, and the BITS Biocon Certificate Program in Applied Industrial Microbiology.
Dr. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chief Mentor, Biocon Academy & Executive Chairperson, Biocon and Biocon Biologics, congratulated the students. Gold Medals for Academic Excellence were presented to eight deserving students who finished first in their respective cohorts.
